Develop process control logic in EcoStruxure Control Expert for M580 HSBY PACs, following Customer Design Standards, Derived Data Type (DDT) lists, standard Derived Function Block (DFB) libraries, and Sequence of Operations (SOOs)

Update DDT lists based on finalized SOOs and ongoing logic development

Design applications using standard DFBs as building blocks, leveraging existing customer applications as templates for program structure

Attend internal and customer design meetings to review programs, control narratives, and cause-and-effect matrices
-
Collaborate effectively with internal and customer team members to drive project success
-
Tune PID loops to optimize process control performance
-
Understand and clearly explain data structures, logic structures, and DFBs developed for program-wide use
-
Apply QA/QC tools and processes throughout the development lifecycle
-
Develop and maintain a leadership presence within the client's organization
-
Support sales demo development and contribute to pre-sales site visits
-
Periodically contribute to marketing and sales content
-
Develop and review technical content for proposals
-
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
-
7+ years of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioning PLC/Process Automation applications, particularly with Schneider Electric products

Experience writing industrial control applications
-
Experience with industry-standard communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP, and Ethernet IP
-
Experience integrating devices from multiple vendors into a packaged solution
-
Knowledge of computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware
-
Proficiency with Microsoft and Linux operating systems and software applications
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team; self-motivated and results-driven

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Familiarity with computer programming languages (VB, C#, C++, Python, Java)

Advanced understanding of electrical circuits

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions

Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities, and triage issues effectively

Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 25–30%)
-
Ability to obtain necessary clearances and/or credentials to travel abroad and comply with customer site requirements (e.g., OQ task, Homeland Security clearance, drug and alcohol testing, background checks)

Office is in Kansas City. Can also hire remotely in TX.
