Walker Elliott has partnered with our client to source for a Marketing Director with Consumer Packaged Goods expertise. The role leads the strategic vision, planning, and execution of all brand and product marketing initiatives. This leader will drive growth through innovative brand positioning, consumer insights, and creative marketing programs, collaborating across departments to deliver powerful, market-ready campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, brand, and product strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and economic indicators to inform marketing direction.
  • Present data-driven recommendations to executive leadership, guiding product assortment and promotional strategy.
  • Lead and optimize marketing research initiatives, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Build brand equity and market share through innovative campaigns, digital engagement, and retail activation.
  • Foster relationships with influencers, trade associations, and regulatory bodies to amplify brand presence and reputation.
  • Oversee packaging design and rebranding initiatives, ensuring each product reflects brand identity and market relevance.
  • Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure seamless product launches and cross-functional alignment.
  • Manage and develop the marketing team through mentorship, clear objectives, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, analyze ROI, and ensure financial discipline across campaigns and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within CPG or related consumer industries.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple brands, and deliver data-backed marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence in presenting to leadership.
  • Analytical mindset, creative problem-solving ability, and expertise in consumer data tools and marketing analytics.
  • Proficiency with modern marketing technologies and platforms (Google Analytics, CRM, digital campaign tools).
