Description:
Finance Manager / Director
Walker Elliott is working with a fast-growing E&P company in Houston is seeking a Finance Manager or Director to lead all financial functions in a standalone role reporting directly to the CEO. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of a nimble, entrepreneurial team and play a key role in future growth and acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for acquisition opportunities across the Lower 48
- Support deal execution and sourcing through financial analysis and strategic input
- Build and maintain detailed models for asset performance and scenario planning
- Assist in presentations for capital partners, banks, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for optimization
- Serve as the company's go-to financial lead in a lean, collaborative environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and /or Accounting, or related field - required
- Strong experience in upstream oil and gas - required
- Proven track record of stability and progression in prior roles
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with A&D, corporate finance, or business development functions
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team
