Description:
We're seeking a seasoned Production Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on optimizing oil & gas production operations. This role offers the chance to lead engineering initiatives that improve well performance, enhance recovery, and drive cost-effective solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct production surveillance and lead periodic well reviews
- Identify and execute workovers, repairs, reactivations, and decommissioning of wells
- Support redevelopment and process improvement projects
- Monitor and optimize artificial lift systems and waterflood operations
- Analyze well performance and lease operating expenses
- Collaborate with vendors, field teams, and regulatory stakeholders
- Ensure safe, compliant operations across all projects
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in production or reservoir engineering
- Strong knowledge of stimulation, acidizing, sand control, and artificial lift
- Experience with waterfloods and Oilfield Manager software is a plus
- EIT or PE certification encouraged
- Ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision
