Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions and asset acquisitions

  • Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions

  • Prepare and present in-depth reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and financial partners

  • Analyze potential acquisition targets, including asset evaluation and risk assessment

  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting

  • Support the execution of capital markets transactions, including raising debt and equity financing

  • Work closely with banks and financial institutions, maintaining key relationships and negotiating terms

  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Equity Research, or financial analysis within the upstream oil & gas industry

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis

  • Proven experience working with complex financial statements and capital structures

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

  • Familiarity with oil & gas financial metrics and a solid understanding of the energy sector is a plus
