Job Detail: A&D Engineer

Description:

Join a rapidly growing investment firm on the brink of tripling its current deployment, which is already in the billions. We are seeking a dynamic A&D Engineer to play a crucial role on their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, proficiency in ARIES, and hands-on experience working on A&D teams within an operator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform technical underwriting of assets, including production forecasting, type curve building, and LOE/LOS analysis.

• Independently evaluate opportunities through a Virtual Data Room (VDR) with minimal oversight.

• Collaborate with financial analysts to integrate technical data into financial models and project returns.

• Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on commercial analysis and asset performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience, with 2+ years of direct A&D experience on an A&D team, preferably at an operator.

• Proficient in ARIES with a strong understanding of how oil and gas assets generate revenue.

• Strong technical and commercial skills, capable of evaluating deals from both a production and economic standpoint.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred but not required.
