Job Detail: Business Development Reservoir Engineer

Description:

Walker Elliott is working with a growing upstream oil and gas company based in Houston, TX and they are looking to hire Business Development Reservoir Engineer. With a strong focus on expanding their acreage in Texas, they are positioned for significant growth and looking for talented individual to help them achieve their goal.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities to expand the company's acreage portfolio in Texas

• Conduct reservoir engineering studies, including reserves estimation, production forecasting and economic analysis

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities

• Assist in the negotiation of purchase

• Assess the viability of new opportunities

Requirements:

• Degreed

• 8+ yrs. recent in reservoir work with the focus in BD, A&D, M&A

• Evaluations in L-48

• Strong analytical skills

• ARIES, Spotfire proficiency
