Description:
Join our growing team in Denver as a Supervisor, Regulatory, within their Rockies and New Ventures Team. This role has opened up due to the expansion of our asset portfolio, offering a prime opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of federal and state permitting. Key Responsibilities:
- Permitting Leadership: Advise and strategize on all regulatory permitting matters to drive asset development goals. Ensure all necessary regulatory approvals are secured well ahead of operational timelines, including contingencies.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate the regulatory team, ensuring timely and accurate submission of federal and state permitting deliverables. Continuously seek process improvements to enhance performance.
- Operational Coordination: Manage the rig schedule permits, ensuring all submissions are approved to meet desired spud dates. Identify and communicate potential hurdles, offering solutions to avoid delays.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain an accurate internal database for regulatory progress, provide weekly updates on permitting status, and ensure the quality and accuracy of all permitting data.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years in federal and state permitting, with a strong preference for experience in Colorado or other BLM areas.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments to achieve results.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of federal and state permitting processes, with BLM experience strongly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
