Description:
Walker Elliott is working with public oil and gas company in Houston looking to hire a full time Sr. Revenue Accountant. This position will report to Revenue Manager (the position is open due to their growth, recently made large acquisition and continue to expand on their activities in Texas). This position will be competitive base salary, STI and LTI (hybrid work schedule). The company continues to have positive cash flow and financial strength.
Responsibilities:
- Account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare journal entries
- Company compliance with US GAAP and SOX policies
- Prepare monthly invoices
- Booking revenue (for oil and gas)
- Review revenue agreements
- Special projects
Requirements:
- Degree
- Upstream oil and gas focus in revenue
- 5+ yrs. work history with recent yrs. in revenue
- Upstream oil and gas accounting system software
- Excellent communication skills
