Description:
Our client is looking for a proficient Business Analyst to join their Upstream Operator team, offering crucial support to their Accounting user community. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical expertise in the applications we support, along with a deep understanding of business processes within these applications. Working on a collaborative team, you will contribute to project management efforts and collaborate closely with departmental personnel to address support issues, identify challenges, gather business requirements, and meticulously document processes. Your role will involve translating these requirements into comprehensive business solutions design documents for their technical team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide vital support to the Accounting department while also extending assistance to other applications.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, effectively communicating them to the technical team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- 3+ years of upstream oil and gas experience, with a focus on Oil and Gas Accounting.
- Extensive knowledge (3+ years) of P2 Energy Solutions ProCount.
- A strong inclination towards business and data analysis.
- Commitment to teamwork and continuous learning.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and coding methods for Access Databases and Excel Macros.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments of varying scopes effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with managers, corporate personnel, and regional stakeholders.
- Role is hybrid, in office 2 days per week.
