Description:
Walker Elliott is working with upstream oil and gas company in Houston, TX and they are looking to add a Sr. Lease Analyst to their land team. This will be a full-time position in their land administration department. They are seeking candidates with Texas onshore experience. Client will offer competitive base salary, STI and LTI.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of various forms, including complex title, lease and contract documentation to summarize company ownership and obligations.
- Timely processing/mailing of lease and contract payments
- Assist in setting up new leases and contracts, and run reports for proofing and verification of input data
- Review leases and contracts obligation
- Review and edit ownership changes and clean-up lease records, along with general lease records maintenance in the land system.
Requirements:
- Degree or High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 8+ years of experience in lease and contract analysis
- Texas
- Solid understanding of oil & gas leases as well as familiarity with complex leases and contracts
