Job Detail: Oracle SCM Analyst - Techno-Functional

Oracle SCM Analyst

A large energy company in north Houston is looking to add an Oracle SCM Analyst to their team.  This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule including 4 days a week onsite in Houston and 1 day from home.  You will provide techno-functional support for Oracle ERP applications, focusing on Purchasing and Inventory modules, while assisting with other financial modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for Oracle Inventory and Purchasing modules; resolve process issues with key business users

• Collaborate on requirements gathering and enhancements for new SCM functionality, including system testing

• Understand integration with other systems/processes and assist in issue resolution

• Maintain user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions

• Collaborate with developers to design and test Oracle Application extensions, including reports, alerts, workflows, and interfaces

• Work with Oracle Support to resolve issues

• Assist with departmental purchase orders as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Inventory, iProcurement, and Purchasing (both functional and technical)

• Knowledge of integration with Oracle Projects and General Ledger

• Experience with Oracle R12

• Production support experience is essential

• Familiarity with Oracle workflow and working in a global environment

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills; experience with APEX, XML Publisher, and Oracle reporting tools

• Ability to diagnose system problems and work under pressure

• Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is preferred
