Description:
Walker Elliott is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for its client in the Houston area.  The engineer will be responsible for designing the structures in accordance to API and Eurocode standards for API 650 and API 653 storage tanks.
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Previous tank design is a plus
- Experience with Eurocodes for aluminum and steel structures
- Knowledge of API 650 and 653 requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Eurocodes understanding- aluminum design codes
- 1990 Load Factor Resistance Design (LRV) code/design methods, 1991 action, wind loads seismic load, 1993 tanks and pressure vessels, 19998 codes; 14015 code.
