Job Detail: Associate Engineer

Description:

Our client, a boutique advisory firm is offering acquisitions & divestitures (A&D) services to the upstream oil & gas sector is seeking a self-driven A&D Associate to join their team. In this role, you will analyze and evaluate A&D projects, including engineering and financial modeling, and will mentor/train the junior staff. Our ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative capabilities, intellectual curiosity, and an aptitude for problem solving. Someone who can take raw client data and generate a working reserves model.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyze and evaluate A&D projects

• Engineering and financial modeling

• Data analysis

• Market research

• Preparation of presentations and support materials

About You:

• Be able to do the job as described

• Possess a minimum of 6 year's of experience within an oil & gas advisory firm, investment firm, or operator performing Reservoir Engineering duties

• Extensive experience in engineering across multiple projects. Ability to take raw client data and create functional reserves models

• Worked conventional assets is a huge plus

• Be willing to work up to 70+ hours/week, with a target average of 60 hours/week

Compensation:

• Salary range: Salary and bonus estimated all in cash can range from $300K-$400K

• Benefits: Company pays 100% of health insurance premiums for employee and family
