Senior Completions Engineer (hybrid)

Walker Elliott is working with upstream oil and gas company in Midland, TX looking to hire a Senior Completions Engineer. Company has premier assets in the Permian and very active drilling program. As a Senior Completions Engineer you will play a key role in designing, planning and execution of completion operations in their Permian operations. Leveraging your expertise in completions techniques and technologies, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and safe well completions. They will offer very good STI and LTI, top benefits and hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and optimizing completions programs for unconventional reservoirs in the Permian
• Support all phases of completions operations from planning to execution to post-job analysis.
• Monitoring and analyzing well performance.
• Workovers and fracing.

Requirements:

• BS in Petroleum Engineering
• 5+ yrs. in recent completions capacity with upstream operator (and not OFS)
• Strong background working in the Permian.
• Experience in hydraulic fracturing and other common techniques used in unconventional reservoirs.
• Strong communication skills
