Description:
Project Manager SDLC - IT Applications
The Project Management role we have open with one of our best clients requires a PM with a passion for details, juggling tasks, diving into new challenges and dealing with all levels in an organization to facilitate communication.
They need a person who come from 'technical roots' - either having been a developer or software engineer would be ideal. Understanding the SDLC is a critical component of the position.
This role will serve as a critical part of major software implementations, upgrades to existing technology and ongoing IT Application delivery. This is a full-time direct hire role.
Major Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple projects within various departments and communicate with business leaders
- Plan, direct, and monitor all project activity including project teams
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines
- Interface with Key Stakeholders for reporting and project status
- Liaison with software development, testing and other IT professionals
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Full life cycle PM experience
- 2+ years of experience engaging in Software, Implementation and Technology projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Industry knowledge from Financial Services, Insurance or Banking is helpful
- MS Project is preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- PMP certification desired
