Description:


Walker Elliott is on the lookout for a seasoned I&E Maintenance Superintendent to lead the Instrument and Electrical Maintenance division. This role is pivotal in steering the team's daily functions and ensuring operational excellence.

Strategic Oversight and Implementation:

  • Champion the crafting and execution of Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) operational plans, including daily and weekly agendas, shutdowns, and standard outages.
  • Proactively handle urgent maintenance scenarios, guaranteeing prompt action and reduction of operational risks.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

  • Cultivate robust communication channels among various site teams, ensuring cohesive collaboration and backing cross-departmental projects when necessary.
  • Assume a principal role or contribute significantly to the investigation of incidents as they arise.

Project Leadership:

  • Uphold stringent adherence to regulatory responsibilities, covering SIS testing, environmental monitoring, preventive maintenance, change management, and PSM mandated improvements.
  • Direct fiscal stewardship, managing annual financial plans, controlling overtime, and supervising contract negotiations and amendments.

Position Requirements:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in I&E Maintenance within the petrochemical or a comparable sector is required, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in relevant industry regulations and standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, ISA 81, ISA 61511, and NETA, is advantageous.
  • Analytical prowess and experience with control systems are desirable.
  • An Associate's degree or a degree in engineering technology may be considered equivalent with appropriate experience.
  • Eligibility to secure a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card is mandatory.
