Description:
Our client, known to be the worldwide leader in their industry, is searching for a Reliability Instrumentation and Electrical Supervisor. The position is in the Baton Rouge, LA, area and involves leading a team of professionals in the Instrumentation and Electrical field. The team consists of an I&E Engineer, I&E Designer, I&E Specialists, Control Systems Programmer, and Control Systems Administrator, and you will be responsible for managing them daily. REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- 7+ years of experience in I&E Engineering in the petrochemical or related industry is preferred.
- I&E leadership experience within the petrochemical or related industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with a wide range of Electrical, Instrument, Analyzer, and Control System equipment is required.
- Expertise in root cause analysis techniques like Apollo, 5-Why, Taproot, etc., is beneficial.
- Proficient in spreadsheet data manipulation, generating reports, and using various software packages routinely used by I&E Engineers and Technicians. Able to work extended hours, including outages and turnarounds.
