Job Detail: Microsoft 365 Senior Administrator

Description:

Walker Elliott is working a managed service provider leader, who is looking for a Microsoft 365 Senior Administrator. This Systems Engineer will provide soup to nuts support of protocols, networks, security, and identity and access management.

This role is on site for the first six months, and potential 4/1 after that time period.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve system and application issues at client site (1-2 per day).

• Solve issues and communicate with all stakeholders.

• Work in Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and private cloud.

• Utilize best practices around on prem and cloud solutions.

• Configure and deploy MS MFA and Cisco Duo.

• Provide hands-on with all virtualization platforms.

• Install and maintain Windows server environments.

• Work in a ticketing system and create and maintain internal and client-facing documentation.

• Design and configure WAN And VPN.

• Implement and support backup and DR solutions.

Requirements:

• Prefer MS-100 or MD-100 (but will get this once employed)

• 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering role

• Network environments both cloud and on-premise

• Extensive MS Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IIS and remote desktop

• Microsoft Exchange both on prem and Microsoft 365

• Willingness to achieve certifications.
