Description:
Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas client who is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong business acumen to support their users. The right person for this role has functional upstream business knowledge, and SQL knowledge and experience. Role is hybrid 3/2.
Responsibilities:
- Work with users to identify problems.
- Gather business requirements.
- Document process and requirements and translate them to a business solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience. 2+ years of oil and gas upstream.
- Must have good SQL skills including querying the database, joins, tables, stored procedures.
- Strong analytical thinker with ability to grasp complex data.
- Be a great team player. Work well independently .
- Manage projects, leading when necessary.
