Are you looking for an opportunity to join a high growth, fun organization that embraces technology? Walker Elliott is working on a search for a Network Engineer for an industry leader based in Houston.  

In this role, you will work at the highest level on large enterprise network platforms. Primary responsibilities will be in the areas of routing, Switches, Gateways, Load balancing, DMVPN, MPLS, and Content Services.

Core requirements include:

• Minimum 2 + years of Cisco based routers and switches.

• Strong experience in Load balancing --- a must

• VPN, Network management, capacity planning

• MPLS, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN

• Network security

• Checkpoint Firewalls

• Ability to work in a fast paced/collaborative culture

Primary Responsibilities:

• Routing, Switching and Gateway configuration.

• VPM, DMVPN, MPLS, OSPF.

• Load balancing and Capacity planning.

• Creating and Maintaining Enterprise Network Standards

• Monitor and administer core networks

Educations/Certs

• Degree or 3+ years of experience required

• Certifications strongly preferred: CCNP, CCNA
