Data Analyst (onsite)

Walker Elliott is working with a growing and financially stable PE backed oil and gas company in Houston looking to hire a Data Analyst. This position will report directly to Manager and work collaboratively across engineering and IT disciplines. The position also qualifies for strong profit sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Developing data interfaces and visualizations in Spotfire

• Provide input on data structures to facilitate access to data for analysis

• Perform ad hoc data analyses in Spotfire and  PowerBI

• Report and help resolve issues

• Data manipulation

Requirements:

• 2+ yrs. data experience

• Degreed

• High proficiency with Spotfire, SQL, Excel, PowerBI

• Upstream oil and gas experience

• Programming

• Excellent communication skills
