Job Detail: Healthcare Interops Manager

Description:

Walker Elliott is searching for a Healthcare Leader with tremendous relationship building and HL7 Interface knowledge for one of our top Dallas clients. The Leadership role in this growing Interoperability Group has overall responsibility for driving the capabilities and effectiveness of the Health Systems Interfaces internally and in company facilities. Our client is open to a remote/hybrid schedule, but should be local to the DFW area.
 
This includes but not limited to:

• Managing all interfaces and feeds for the Health related systems for performance, integrity and ongoing service requirements.

• Design, develop and establish best practice standards for QoS.

• Develop relationships across all facets of the business including business unit stakeholders, facility directors and VP's, other Information Technology groups and technical analysts in the field.

• Ongoing relationship building with facility leaders in technology and development to improve, establish and advance health system interfaces

• Lead the Interface Development team through creating achievable roadmaps, hands-on mentorship and effective communication

• Lead the Interface Team, monitor production, set priorities and manage the interface requests

• Maintain effective communication with all development teams for compliance with change management, SDLC guidelines and the overall scalability of the solutions

• Manage 3rd party vendors and their SLA's

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Outstanding relationship building skills with all levels and throughout the business

• Ability to, and experience with, delivering the completion of projects on-time, within budget parameters and meeting expectations

• Solid experience with HL7 Interface tools, EMR applications and data structures

• Must have excellent communication skills, a desire to mentor the team and an internal drive to foster relationships within the company to drive the success of the interface team

 EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 8+ years in healthcare interface development and support

• 3+ years in a leadership or Sr. role ready to move into the next level
