Description:
Walker Elliott is working with energy company in the Houston area looking to hire a full-time JIB Accountant. Company is in growth mode, financial stabile, and this will be great opportunity to come in and join the group from the beginning. The position will report to the Controller and work very collaboratively with the entire F&A department. They offer top of the line benefits and long-term incentives.
Responsibilities:
- JIB transactions including AFE’s
- Cost allocations creation
- Calculations (owner netting and owner billing)
- Review of billing statements
- 1099s
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Accounting
- 2+ years Joint Interest Billing/JIB accounting
- Oil and gas experience
