Job Detail: Production Engineer-Contract

Description:

Walker Elliott is working with a growing E&P group in West Houston seeking a Production Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct production surveillance as part of a multi-disciplinary team to optimize production on their secondary recovery producing properties

• Identify opportunities to improve production from active wells

• Provide engineering support to field staff for installation, operation, optimization and maintenance of production facilities

•  Monitor and optimize pumping units and injections

Requirements:

• BS in Petroleum Engineering

• 6+ years of experience

• Experience working vertical wells and secondary recovery such as waterflooding

• Knowledge of oil & gas production operations and facilities

• Can start on a contract immediately with no expectation that it becomes full time quickly
