Description:
Walker Elliott is working with an exciting and rapidly growing portfolio company in Dallas that is seeking an Accountant. This group is backed by a thriving private equity firm. This Accountant is the first hire on the E&P team and will get interact with the equity firm often and directly support the Controller. It is an immediate hire!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly JEs
- Process JIB, Revenue, and general accounting
- Communicate with operators and vendors
- Prepare settlement statements for A&D
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
- BBA in Accounting; MS or CPA plus but not required
- 2+ years of upstream Accounting experience
- Proficient in MS Excel
