Description:
Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas client who is looking for an Applications Programmer. The person in this role provides support to the user community. In addition, work on projects to promote company goals. Work is hybrid 3/2.
Responsibilities:
- Work with users to identify and resolve problems.
- Provide support for applications.
- Design and develop custom solutions.
- Work on projects, help with plans, reports.
- Analyze all applications for enhancements.
- Prepare and execute test plans.
- Track support incidents.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- 3+ professional experience. 2+ years of Upstream (operator) oil and gas experience.
- Knowledge of SQL concepts including views, stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS. Access and Excel.
- Some project management experience.
