Description:
Walker Elliott is working with a new client (on a confidential search) in the Houston area looking to hire a full time Financial Reporting Manager. This is technical position and for now it is a individual contributor role (as company grows the idea is to hire around the manager). The position will report to Controller and work very collaboratively with entire F&A department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare financial reports (accuracy)
- Work on annual budgets and forecasting
- US GAAP compliance
- Work on consolidation process
- Assist with audits when needed
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (highly desired)
- 5+ yrs. in accounting experience
- 3+ yrs. recent specifically in financial reporting
- Great communication skills
Only Houston based candidates will be considered for this position, no relocation offered.
