Description:
Walker Elliott is working on an outstanding career role for a Sr. System Engineer.
"Career building" position in support of enterprise Microsoft Server and Systems for a unique role in a growing technology oriented company. Must have outstanding communication skills along with MS Infrastructure experience including Windows Servers, SQL Server Clustering, MS Exchange, Active Directory and solid skills with virtual technology - VMware, Cloud and O365. Superior Troubleshooting, an interest in solving technical and business problems, and current MS and Windows Infrastructure product experience are required. This role is in a corporate IT group of a stable company expanding their team. Windows Server administration to include installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of their server environment.
- 8+ years VMware, Active Directory and Exchange experience (Must)
- Experience in an IIS environment
- SAN (EMC) a plus
- Desired skills include: MS Exchange, O365, Cloud (AWS or Azure), PowerShell Scripting for automation and experience supporting SQL Server Cluster environment
- Must be able to troubleshoot Windows OS and have performance tuning experience
- Qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills, solid problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- MCSE Certification highly preferred
