Description:
Walker Elliott is exclusively working with a top producing private oil & gas company in the San Joaquin Valley area. They continue to experience growth and even through challenging times have remained financially strong. They are currently looking to hire a Sr. Production Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Create opportunities to improve current production through workovers and secondary recovery methods
- Update production data and forecasts
- Optimize artificial lift equipment
- Provide production, expense, capital estimates for budgeting and planning
- Production surveillance
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Production Engineering experience with an operator
- Secondary recovery experience in thermal and/or diatomite assets
- Preferred but not required: experience with facilities in dehydration
- BS in Petroleum Engineering
- If not local to California then must have personal ties to the area to be considered
