Description:
Walker Elliott is exclusively working with a top producing private oil & gas company in the San Joaquin Valley area. They continue to experience growth and even through challenging times have remained financially strong. They currently looking to hire a Sr. Reservoir Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and development life-of-field reservoir depletion plans, including supporting the construction and use of reservoir simulation models as needed
- Develop production forecasts, operating plans, and evaluate economic models for asset valuations and budget preparation
- Evaluate new opportunities to drill and maximize workovers
- Perform reservoir surveillance
- Create production forecasts and run economic models for NAV
Requirements:
- 5+ years of overall experience
- BS in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering
- Experience with ARIES
- Secondary recovery such as thermal, sandstone and/or steamflood highly desired
- If candidate is not local to California and wants to be considered they must have some sort of personal ties to the area for relocation
