Description:
Walker Elliott is working with a client that is looking for an intermediate to senior level DevOps Engineer. It is a Houston-based company with a 100% remote opportunity. In this role, you will build and manage the deployment of production software using cloud-based technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work to have best in class DevOps and GitOps procedures, tools.
- Build, maintain, and scale cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD.
- Docker/Kubernetes on AWS.
- Design GitOps infrastructure using GitLab with Kubernetes.
- Enthusiasm to automate everything.
- Maintain the internal infrastructure for full remote team.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or other STEM related degree; MS advantageous.
- 2+ years working with Kubernetes, Docker.
- Be a Python scripter.
- DevOps and cloud experience (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- GitOps integrated with Kubernetes clusters.
- Jenkins, GitLab or other for CI/CD.
100% remote - must be in US time zones
