Description:
Walker Elliott is working on an outstanding role for a Sr. Software Engineer.
A technology company based in Houston is looking for a strong Software Engineer with 3D visualization experience. This person will help re-engineer a 3D visualization product using Java and OpenGL. This is a direct hire opportunity that is temporarily remote due to COVID.
Required and desired skills:
- Strong experience with Java and OpenGL for 3D visualization
- Experience with C, C++ or Python is desired
- Experience with HPC concepts is preferred
- Strong Math background including work with algorithms
- Experience assessing the quality of software and make recommendations for improvements
Knowledge of Linux, source code management and tracking systems
