Description:
Walker Elliott is working with a brilliantly led innovative energy company in Southern California. They have developed ground breaking technology that will improve how we utilize energy for every day uses. They are open to learning more about candidates from various industries that have dealt with high temperature, refractory lining, and refinery/chemical processing. They would have a special interest in knowing about engineers in the oil & gas processing space who are looking to make a change into clean energy. They are offering a competitive salary, large equity grant, and will pay for relocation to California.
Responsibilities:
- Create and mold of heat transfer units for extremely high temperature pressurized reactor systems.
- Design experimental units to test thermal performance expected in scaled-up reactor systems
- Develop CAD models for experimental tests
- Document, analyze, and report all development activities
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in leading multi-million dollar projects
- BS or Advanced degrees in Engineering
- Background working temperatures greater than 1800 F
- Experience in molten metals, salts, or high heat chemical reactor design
