Security Manager-IT
Walker Elliott has partnered with our very stable client that is looking to hire an IT Security Manager to help drive their security initiatives for 2021.
This person will be responsible for building corporate security vision and managing enterprise security initiatives.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Long term corporate Security policy and procedures development
- Manage the security team
- Manage the design, development, and implementation of any new Security services for an international Enterprise environment
- Vulnerability assessments, Penetration testing, and security audits
- Maintain existing security architecture and make ongoing recommendations on any new changes to the Enterprise security architecture as needed
- Security incidents management
- Help develop all capital budgets for the IT security team
Requirements include:
- Security certifications such as: CISM, CISSP, CISA, GIAC
- NIST Cybersecurity framework required
- 4-year degree (Computer related degree preferred)
- 3+ years in a leadership role in an IT Security organization
- 5+ years increasing responsibility in IT Security
- US Citizenship required with no dual citizenship due to the nature of the employer’s government contracts
Note: this position can be filled in Houston, TX or Dallas, TX.
