Description:


Walker Elliott is working with a well established and growing company, based in Dallas, has an opening for a Systems and Support Engineer to join their IT team. This role will be challenging, but rewarding, as it has many components and opportunities to learn new technology.

Responsibilities include: overall support of all desktop tools (Desktop, MS Office, printers, mobile devices), Server configuration and support, Wireless configuration and support, back-ups, Network troubleshooting and upgrades.

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years experience supporting the Windows OS and Active Directory, MS Exchange support experience is a plus
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues and configuring hardware and software on both desktop and servers
  • Experience supporting Citrix desirable
  • Working knowledge of ITSM products like ServiceNow or Remedy
  • Experience installing software, patches, updates
  • Experience troubleshooting network, software, printing problems
  • Excellent communication skills

OVERVIEW:

  • This position assists staff in Corporate Office, local DFW locations and remote areas as needed
  • Document issues in the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Coordinate and assist with launching special projects
  • Support includes specifications, installation and testing of computer systems and enterprise software
  • Assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers, and associated equipment.
